The Georgetown Branch
The B&O Georgetown Branch ran from near Silver Spring, MD, through Chevy Chase & Bethesda MD and on into Washington DC, along the Potomac River & C&O Canal and into Georgetown, DC. It hauled many types of freight and goods from the late 1800's until 1985 when it was abandoned by CSX. I'm currently in the room prep and planning stages of modeling the Branch in my basment in HO scale. Check out the site for more info!

The East Broad Top Railroad
The EBT is a narrow gauge (3') railroad in PA which is currently still in operation as a tourist attraction. The railroad has an extensive, authentic, turn-of-the-century shop complex that is truly spectacular. I fell in love with "Old Easty" back in 1999 and since then I've joined the Friends of the East Broad Top (FEBT) and particpated in several work sessions in Rockhill Furnace at the old shops.
